Absolute units, not normal units, more detailed definitions here

No creepshots / fat shaming pics allowed. Mainly the subjects are animals, but big foods and objects, like statues, are also allowed. If you are submitting humans, only public figures are allowed, and not only to showcase that they are fat, they must be also large in stature; no harassment or creepshots; fat-shaming is strictly prohibited.

while mild NSFW stuff is allowed, as long as its put in it's own tag when posting, anything more than that, and borderline NSFL, are straight banned. This includes stuff that is sexual in nature, gory, anything not very palpable for the eyes.

Hello boys and girls, my name is Fat Lip, and this is my friend Sammy the Salmon.

Sammy: what do?

Today, we're going to teach you some fun facts about salmon and a brand new dance

sometimes my brain gets a hint of caveman knowledge ingrained to my survival instincts that says "no. don't let animal go, don't let get away. Worked hard for that" and I think it's really wholesome

I think that's just a hobbit with a regular salmon.

We’re gonna need more bagels and cream cheese…

When spawning, salmon exhaust themselves to death. That's kinda what this looks like, a really tired salmon was floating there and summoned a burst of energy. They don't taste good at this time.

Isn't that only Pacific salmon? I thought Atlantic salmon could make the trip multiple times.

And some species of Pacific salmon can spawn multiple times, though it's pretty rare.

That's incredible, what a catch, I dunno how I could sleep after landing that monster.

What a beautiful fish.

So this feels like a genuine video, with ai generated videos getting better and better I really wonder how this kind of video will be received in the future? Skepticism? No matter how real a video is it can't be trusted to represent reality, how do we verify the veracity of a video? Geotagging and weather validation? Spacial videos? Multiple camera angles? I wonder if a post truth society simply won't trust anything

I hate to say it but, I think we are going to find out. I think the paradigm has already shifted and the rules haven't yet been figured out. We're already living in a post truth era. People running around spouting lies and denying truth to the point of exhaustion.

You bring up an interesting point. Maybe we'll have to get to the point that if it's not in a physical book obviously copywritten pre 2017 no one will trust it.

We have certificate authorities in the digital world and notaries in the paper world. It’s not a huge leap to start an authenticity authority for videos, images and audio.

I think it comes down to trusted sources. Some individuals/groups will build a reputation and cryptographically sign their content, and you could check the signature of a given video so you know who signed it.

How do salmon know how to return to where they originally spawned after swimming around in the ocean. Nature is fucking crazy
