I had this same thought as I was looking through cagedladies.com. Found one and thought, "come on, she looks sweet enough," looked her up, convicted of sexual abuse. My taste remains as questionable as ever.

I found one that drowned her baby because he cried too loud.

[–] ivanafterall@lemmy.world 5 points 10 months ago (2 children)

Oof...there's two sides to every story? Maybe?

[–] MagicShel@lemmy.zip 7 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Well we'll never hear the baby's side...

I meant this to be funny but if someone wants to be somber or outraged those are probably more appropriate responses.

Well we’ll never hear the baby’s side…

Trust me, you wouldn't want to.

Unpopular opinion but it's sometimes better than the alternative. Growing up abused is the worst. One horrible act can be less bad than a lifetime of abuse and trauma.

Damn, one of em is thirsty AF, another says "don't mention this website when you contact me, I will get in trouble".

Wild

What prison has inmates looking like that? WHAT PRISON‽‽

[–] sxan@midwest.social 18 points 10 months ago (1 children)

I don't think it matters.

There used to be a poster with some supermodel in it that said, "no matter how good she looks, someone, somewhere, is sick of putting up with her bullshit."

I think the reason they're in prison is pretty important.

[–] Grimy@lemmy.world 7 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Maybe it's just fraud tho. I can deal with that.

[–] sxan@midwest.social 3 points 10 months ago

Probably fraud, or some other scam.

[–] synicalx@lemm.ee 17 points 10 months ago

I’m guessing these are at least partly fake, the one in the middle is Belle Delphine’s fake mugshot when she faked getting arrested as a publicity stunt.

[–] FilthyShrooms@lemmy.world 10 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago)

These are likely mugshots, so they still have their hair and makeup done, and also hand selected to show the "pretty ones"

Edit: and some (maybe all) are probably fake

[–] Dr_Box@lemmy.world 19 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Is that just a pic of belle delphine in the middle?

[–] ininewcrow@lemmy.ca 9 points 10 months ago

They're all the same person

And the people you'll write to will be all the male inmates of prisons across the country

[–] lowspeedchase@lemmy.dbzer0.com 8 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Yeah but where is the link... asking for a friend 😅

[–] ivanafterall@lemmy.world 19 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Looks like cagedladies.com is one of them. Not kidding.

[–] lowspeedchase@lemmy.dbzer0.com 17 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Almost all of them advertise their "gettingout" or "JPay" accounts... this is some bizzaro world black mirror OF reality lol

[–] Mirshe@lemmy.world 17 points 10 months ago (1 children)

JPay is important, because in the modern US private prison system, it is INCREDIBLY expensive to be incarcerated. You pay for everything. The JPay system takes enormous fees out of your deposits, and you can quite literally drop $10 in there and wind up with $6 by the time it hits the account.

[–] lowspeedchase@lemmy.dbzer0.com 12 points 10 months ago

I get that - but you have to admit it's weird to have pages of women essentially advertising their prison version of OF.
