But you break a penguin's heart each time you use a proprietary application 🥺

Blender have a python interpreter? Pretty cool

[–] [email protected] 19 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Basically the whole program can be scripted with python

[–] [email protected] 9 points 6 days ago (1 children)

I believe you can even type some Python directly into the actual number fields in that program.

Y E A H Its called Drivers and you can do so much with it I rely on them heavily to keep using workbench instead of EEVEE or Cycles to achieve certain effects (eg. Riggable eyes on my characters)

So instead you should buy a 1000$ calculator

Dude. You're looking at my work computer.

A. I didn't buy it

B. It probably costs 25$ new and they would pay you to take it away now

Lol, I was just joking, since you'd usually run Blender on a pretty beefy rig, of course I wouldn't know from the monitor alone

As long as you're not rendering or shading, it can basically run on a potato, believe it or not I even rendered a single photo on this thing once.... at 1024 passes... And only one object in the scene... And no special shaders.

But hey if you only need to model it will run on anything.

That's true, I also used to run it on a weaker PCs of mine to do the donut tutorial for example, it runs well as long as the scene isn't very busy
