Generally, an artifact should be 100+ years old, but this is a flexible requirement if you find something rare and suitably linked to an era of history, not a strict rule. Anything over 100 is fair game regardless of rarity.

Incredible.

Got to see a Faberge egg up close... Close enough to touch, in the 90's when it was part of a museum tour "Treasures of the Czars".

Incredible. All of it. The opulence of royalty compared to the average person was so far beyond the wealth gap we see today, it's difficult to even comprehend.
