While we understand it is subjective, if a moderator believes a song to stray too far from thrash, it will likely be locked. Please do not take this personally. Repeat offenders may see posts removed.
Please search before posting a song, do not repeat posts.
Friendly debate is encouraged.
When posting a song use the format of "Band - Song [FFO: band1, band2]". This just helps keep things uniform. The "FFO" (For Fans Of) section is optional. It is for lesser known bands. (Stole this idea from the Death Metal community).
No racist, sexist, blah blah blah... you get the idea. This is not the place to discuss sensitive matters.
No NSFW content (apart from songs/album covers. If they do include NSFW content, please mark the posts as such).
Post in English only (obviously you can post songs in different languages).

Swedish blackened thrash. Surprised to find I haven't posted this band yet. Very aggressive, doesn't let up. Enjoy!

Sorry, are you promoting that Nifelheim with this post? You know, the multiple-times sketchy* lineup w/ an oops-we-did-it-again response each time they're caught out? Hunh. Curious.

*per the linked PDF. I don't personally use the word to describe racist, bigoted, hate-mongering fuckwads, but maybe it loses something in translation — from the language leading the world in rigid, factual representation in its morphology. Yeah, that tracks

That sheet mentions a link to Pagan Rites and nothing about oops-we-did-it-again responses or anything else? What are you referring to? The PDF literally marks them as "unknown".

I've been listening to Nifelheim for years and I used to browse those threads on RABM, I really don't know what you're talking about.

That song slaps, one of my Nifelheim favs!

I do apologize for the slapdash citation, I'm hesitant to re-dive into the darker metal of similar since the bigotry shitstorm reared its pale AF heads back when, but my question was a genuine inquiry not intended as an accusation at any level. Seriously dude? You accusing me of something? There is literally nothing of substance regarding Nifelheim in that pdf. Is there anything problematic in their music? No. Come back when you have actual evidence of their wrongdoings, rather than replying to me with that accusational, mightier-than-thou tone. Maybe if you didn't reply like a dick and actually presented your views in a considerate, helpful manner I would be more inclined to look into what you are discussing. I hate nazis as much as the next guy, probably more, but this whole culture of witch-hunting is bullshit. If you give me something concrete to work with I will consider retracting my post. But as it stands there is nothing sketchy about their music they have released.
