Good!
We now just need to make sure that Ukraine has the ability to recapture all of the land Russia stole, including Crimea.
And, let's not forget that Russia also needs to return all of the children and other Ukrainian citizens they abducted.
Rules:
No sympathy with the enemy or its collaborators. Russian and North Korean soldiers are fascists committing a genocide. Remember that.
Objective and factual reporting from the battlefield, parliaments, etc. is encouraged, even if it's about bad news for Ukraine.
Insulting Putin and his cronies (Orban, Trump, Musk,...) is absolutely fine but don't use homophobic or similar language against them. Members of the queer community don't deserve to be compared to that scum. Also: Putin disciminates against gay people. If you do as well, you're part of the problem.
Don't insult or use overly harsh language against other commentators.
Don't submit direct links to Twitter/X and Truth Social posts. You may: Post a screenshot + quote, do a full quote and name the author, direct link to a proxy service like xcancel.com, deep link an image embedded in a tweet because Lemmy will cache a copy.

Hell yeah.
Nice to see that one country has balls of steel.
Hell yes! I’m so grateful the European coalition is supporting Ukraine the way the US should. There is absolutely no good goddamn reason for you to be fighting this defense unsupported.
Nadia Gorbliuk, aged 64, was evacuated from the rural village of Uhroidy. She had not wanted to leave her livestock, she says, bursting into tears: as the bombs fell she thought: “This is my destiny, to die with my turkeys!” When soldiers ordered her to leave, she kissed the birds farewell. All nine of them, she has since heard, were evacuated to safety.
I love me a tough old lady. When this finally ends, Ukrainians should come visit NY. You’re a tough bunch. You’d fit right in, and we’d love to have you.

Not now. In a few years maybe, but right now... No one should be trying to get here, for their own safety.
I'd agree on the warm welcome from the people though!
