Democrats again playing backfooted.
The time to chastise congressional insider trading was last year at the latest. Now they're doing the same, but on a much bigger scale and without fear of reprisal because the institutions meant to penalize insider trading have all been gutted. They are literally openly bragging about the billions they made from this move.
This is how fascism wins. Antifascists perpetually fighting last month's battle while everyone else deals with this week's crisis. Mark my words: Republicans will disclose their trades in a month or so and literally nothing will happen.
Some of AOC's earliest videos were of her in Congressional meetings talking about corruption and loopholes for representatives to make a profit. She's not late to the party, it's just too few of her colleagues care enough to join her. This is simply someone who doesn't live in a glass house throwing a rock at the others.
Which is why both sides is a totally valid opinion.

Republican and Democrat alike have market trade experts that can capitalize on chaos.
Why would anyone wealthy conduct a transaction traceable to them in this instance?
They can’t hire somebody to hire somebody to hire somebody to put on a mask and go hire a rando and survey the rando until the job is done and take 90-99% of the profits?
Rando guaranteed to be arrested and will come 100% clean:
“It was a MALE! In a black mask! I even know their height!! Give me an audio lineup at the precinct, it’s one of 150 million I know it!”
“…they drove a late 90s Toyota Camry!”
(no money under the mattress could explain it a bit)
Because they DGAF anymore since they are untouchable and have been for at least half a century.
