Holy shit - that just washed away most of my accumulated cynicism in one fell swoop.

It'll return - the current world is just too relentlessly angry, hateful and stupid for it to do otherwise - but for the moment at least, that was a welcome tonic.

Possibly, but it's likely something about that one specifically. Probably because I grew up with the song, but never really stopped to think about what it was saying much, and it's so timely.

Generally though, about the closest I get to happy people grooving is Necry Talkie or Electric Callboy or The Mattoid - sort of ironically happy or happy with a twist.
