So, you're saying that if you keep watching happy people grooving, you'll keep the pessimism "at bay"? I can supply more!

Possibly, but it's likely something about that one specifically. Probably because I grew up with the song, but never really stopped to think about what it was saying much, and it's so timely.

Generally though, about the closest I get to happy people grooving is Necry Talkie or Electric Callboy or The Mattoid - sort of ironically happy or happy with a twist.
