I was looking forward to the skip to the modern era, but I guess we're not doing that, lol. It was also very weird that Jinya seemingly implied that his father's abuse toward Suzune was justified and that he was wrong to help her escape? IDK, just kind of strange how hard the show seems to be going on "it's right to hate children who are different, actually".

And what is going on with "full of beans"?? I have never in my life heard this expression and none of my friends recognized it either, but two different anime this season have used it and I'm just really confused. Were they translated by AI and for some reason the model loves this phrase?

I think it's more of Jinya feeling sorry for and forgiving his father, and going back without really coming home so that the plot can move on.

Well that was slightly better with less plot and action than episode 1...

Do I like it yet? Enh, not really.
