All he has succeeded in doing is violently ripping the US away from its place at the center of the global hegemony.

Which is not great for those of us in the US, but honestly had to happen, the rest of the world clearly cannot depend on us. Our entire political system is built on honor systems and pinky promises, the rich can do whatever they please and never see accountability.

100% this

I am actually thankful we let this idiot ruin this country. Fuck this country

Yeah, as a Canadian, this had to happen. Kamala winning would have just delayed this. The trajectory’s been this direction since Reagan or earlier so hitting “rock bottom” was more important. The delicious irony is that while Trump thinks he’s building a stronger, more independent America, he’s actually just making a stronger, more resilient global trade market and isolating his own country from ever being welcomed to participate in it.

The world wasn’t taking advantage of the US. The world made the US what it is by being its global market.

Not anymore. Sell your locally-made garbage to yourselves and watch as the world turns you into Russia 2.

Russia 2.0 is the endgame. These fuckers are all fans of Putin and absolutely love how he has funneled his country's wealth directly into his own pockets. Forget Elon Musk, Putin is the actual richest man alive, although we will probably never know exactly how rich.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 3 days ago

Well he owns America and Elon too, so he’s def in the lead…

[–] [email protected] 15 points 3 days ago

What I hope happens is we oust him and do some serious work on our systems that prevents stuff like this.

Though the track record of our leaders is pretty depressing, maybe they're starting to wake up now that we get to see Endgame Capitalism

I'm a bit worried about all those warplanes, warships and nuclear tipped ICBMs

I remember watching a Noam Chomsky talk where he said replacing USD as the global reserve currency could be a good thing for ordinary Americans, long-term.

I don’t think he had anything like this in mind for how to do it though.

I’m gonna ChomskyHonk my self and look for this vid

Putin smiles. His orange puppet is doing his bidding well.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 days ago

Putin. Its always Putin, using Skum and HitlerPig as his muscle.

When will people truly internalize that the two biggest foreign Sociopathic Oligarchs, have partnered up with the most prolific traitor in American history? None of them have any loyalty or patriotism toward America, and only see us as a big, rich, fat, lazy target to be ruthlessly exploited and looted, and it's happening in real time before our eyes.

[–] [email protected] -1 points 3 days ago

Actually this is hitting Russian markets too. And Putin is apparently not happy about this talk of annexing Greenland either.

[–] [email protected] 26 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Causing chaos makes him feel important.

What a piece of shit.

[–] [email protected] 15 points 3 days ago

Everybody's talking about him. To him, that's the whole point of life!

[–] [email protected] 34 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

Do you love Trump more than your 401k, Your savings and country? We all know the answer already. But it is up to Trump cultists to come to it themselves. If this was Biden doing this, they would have gotten him impeached and removed from office. This man has no economists or data backing up his choices. I believe that report of him feeding that shit through ChatGPT.

[–] [email protected] 37 points 3 days ago (1 children)

He is insane. The people need to deal with their mad king.

[–] [email protected] 13 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Nothing is going to happen there until millions of people start starving in the streets

[–] [email protected] 12 points 3 days ago (1 children)

I give it 3 months before that happens. If anything changes after is the question.

[–] [email protected] 14 points 3 days ago (1 children)

When people start literally starving is when they literally have nothing to lose. At least in jail, they get food. This will end very bloody.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 3 days ago (1 children)

At least in jail, they get food.

For now. There's already reports of immigrant detainees being starved.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 days ago

I'm not talking about immigrants. Trump has choked off most support to low income people, so when these tariffs really hit home, millions of Americans will learn what it means to literally starve. Many of which will be stunned that the leopard i a eating their face.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 2 days ago

Its as if Putin himself is speaking

[–] [email protected] 12 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Trump is that kid on beach who watches you build a big, beautiful sand sculpture and then cannonballs right into it just as you’re about to finish. Then laughs.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 days ago

He's probably doing it as revenge for losing to Biden. Burning it all down cause Americans where to stupid and voted for him.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 days ago

JFC the Joker is less chaotic than the Orange Jackass.

Trump The Mad King should be his title

[–] [email protected] 3 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

The Would-be

I didn't vote for him, and you're not a king until you both say you are and no one kills you for it.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 3 days ago

Everybody knows by now that this buffoon always says the opposite of his true feelings, right?

"Luxurious" --> cheap crap "Beautiful" --> tacky/hideous/etc "Amazing" --> I just learned about this thing that everyone else has known for decades.
