49.8% vs 48.3% is barely more than a tie. Time for the USA to drop that archaic system and start electing the president directly. It's absolutely mind boggling that this can be called a landslide victory.
But they won and if they didn't win then they surely would have conceded gracefully and not protested or risen up or attempted a coup or anything.
I am currently watching Sec Commerce Lutnick literally whining and complaining on Face The Nation that 'its not fair' that we have trade defecits, constantly flip from 'we will bring in foreign investment' and 'too many foreginers own too much US industry'.
