The biggest thing i think is it just shows public support for people who speak out against trump which can help encourage other representatives to do the same.

Yeah, it didn't accomplish THAT much by itself, but it can be a catalyst for other reps to do their fucking jobs.

Ofc other reps can keep bending their knee and then nothing changes

There are 25 hours of talking points that can be harvested for a while. The act itself is a talking point.

It likely only happened in response to the backlash Chuck Schumer was receiving for being the ghoul he always has been. It helps recouperate lost good will to do this, or it is an attempt to do so.

It would've been nice if he'd done this at the censure of Al Green or something. But
