Perchance - Create a Random Text Generator
⚄︎ Perchance
This is a Lemmy Community for perchance.org, a platform for sharing and creating random text generators.
Feel free to ask for help, share your generators, and start friendly discussions at your leisure :)
This community is mainly for discussions between those who are building generators. For discussions about using generators, especially the popular AI ones, the community-led Casual Perchance forum is likely a more appropriate venue.
See this post for the Complete Guide to Posting Here on the Community!

- We would like to ask to refrain from posting here needing help specifically with prompting/achieving certain results with the AI plugins (
text-to-image-pluginandai-text-plugin) e.g. "What is the good prompt for X?", "How to achieve X with Y generator?" - See Perchance AI FAQ for FAQ about the AI tools.
- You can ask for help with prompting at the 'sister' community Casual Perchance, which is for more casual discussions.
- We will still be helping/answering questions about the plugins as long as it is related to building generators with them.

Anyway, just a tip: learn to "hide" what you were doing before on things you post online. Here you are anonymous (I believe), and people will only make jokes about "masterpiece, best quality, ultra detailed hentai illustration, seductive bride" (I for one think it's pretty ok to have desires for one's own wedding night, and it even makes me want to make "handholding" jokes). But that's not always the case.
If you post it on the wrong place, for the wrong people, it may end up bad. There are cases, for example, of people who became big jokes because they recorded themselves on their bedroom but they forgot to hide their dildos (cases like, family photo, online job interview, and so on). There's a chance your case is not far from it.
If you have no problem with this kind of thing, or if you use this account for the purpose of such things already, no problem. But I'm just warning you that showing such intimate side is not always what people want to do.
No one really cares about this "hidden rule" to be honest. People are extremely open about themselves on platforms like X and even Discord, primarily because they, like you said, have zero problem with showing their true selves, especially on social media platforms. And if you go on "those websites" like Rule34.xxx, people on there are VERY open about what they're into (iykyk). But yeah, there's absolutely no point in reminding anyone this as they likely won't care.
Instead, what you SHOULD hide when posting online is personal information that can easily be used to identify you (credit card information, email, phone number), that's why YouTube channels blur them out to keep those people's identities completely anonymous. If you accidentally leak your personal info, it might be too late as scammers might have already stolen your identity and done irreparable damage to your credibility. Moral of the story, while it's okay to show specific things on the internet, but not ALL things. Sorry for yapping, but I felt like I HAD to give my personal input.
I'm saying this more because some people do worry. Not everyone use nicknames that are completely unrelated to them and all. Personally, I have accounts for "those websites" and accounts for general use, and on accounts for general use (either social media or even games), for reasons, I often (not always) use my "real name", real face and so on, so it would be quite problematic in my case.
My reasons for why they would be problematic are quite simple and not that bad, but there are those who, for example, live in places where certain things are forbidden.
