10,000 more people in the city is huge. That is so much larger than i ever imagined.
Also, hooli dooli i didn't realise, or i'd forgotten, WAAPA was moving with them. Having WAAPA right alongside Blue note theatre, Ledger theatre, down the road from His Majesty's and within spitting distance of a multitude of other venues, we could end up with a very rich live theatre and music scene. Maybe in time even our own kind of Westend.
Very exciting times for the city :)
