I'm actually leaning more to refounding America

The day Trump won the GOP nomination I predicted it would lead to the dissolution of the United States. People in my office actually laughed at me.

We're already seeing state level replacements for federal entities such as the CDC. Californias tax surplus alone could cover most of the EPA/CDC/FEMA/NASA if they chose to fund those entities directly instead of paying taxes to the feds.

I hate that breaking up will be giving Putin exactly what he wanted when he started propping up the orange shitgibbon, but we can’t stay in an abusive marriage forever. I’m tired of paying taxes to fund the boots that will eventually be on my neck.

Restructuring

If we were to double down on “States’ Rights”, the Federal government could become more analogous to the European Union.

The US is too big and has too many cultural differences to be run as it has been.
