A neighbour recently skipped out on his overdue rent and had all his shit dumped on the street. For a second there when I saw a optiplex style clone I thought i was gonna strike it rich stripping the DDR4 out of it
It was DDR4 but, sigh, 256MB sticks.
Wtf. I looked at the case and it had a XP sticker on it. No wonder he abandoned it.

Yeah that would be DDR, DDR2 at best.
I'm pretty sure those are valuable just because I thought they didn't make DDR4 in such a low configuration.
But retro computing is in now. Should have swiped it!
If the price of RAM keeps going up I'm gonna start making artisanal jewelry out of it. It will be more valuable than gold and precious stones.
