You're stronger against your enemies when you're "friends" with the biggest bully. It's just the choice which bully to befriend.

You mean all those troops forced into the wars the US started? Yeah well, that's the downside of being friends with a bully.

Kinda, yeah. During the 30s and 40s we had the same issue as the US has today. When that was over, partly due to the US, they said they would protect us in the future in exchange of us not joining communism and helping them fight it. Every country wss exhausted after the war, so we didn't have much choice. Also, Stalin wasn't great either, so it was the best deal presented. Since then the US grew to become the biggest and strongest bully, capable to strike anything anywhere withing a few hours. And they used it to get rid of people and regimes unwilling to trade their souls to the US.

And we were stuck with the biggest asshole while being too weak to stand up against a bully. Until now, when war crimes and crimes against humanity went too far.

Oh yes, I do think we are to blame for a lot too. But that doesn't change the fact the US is far worse and a huge fucking problem right now. We know that issue, like I said, we had it in the 30s and 40s. But it doesn't help when you say "but you're bad too!" when someone calls out your country is run by elected fascists and should just fuck off and deal with it yourselves.

We, the rest of the world, are done with cleaning up your shit.
