Stop being lazy assholes and work on fixing your problems yourselves.
The tools of geopolitics aren't all that granular. The only thing an outside country can do is make your cities like the cities of Germany at the end of WWII, or like Gaza is today. If you're asking for other countries to fix your problems for you, that is the result.
Banning the US from the Olympics, World Cup or whatever doesn't change anything, and it probably would just be more fodder for your fascist propaganda.
Ending trade with the US? Yeah that's happening, but it won't be something that'll happen tomorrow. This is something that will happen over the next decade. You might even have a Democrat as President when things get really bad because of the shit Trump is doing today. And then you'll vote in another fascist. The stupidity of Americans has become incredibly predictable. Which is why no one can trust you long term.
You're just stupid, and there's no fixing stupid. And you have nukes. You're the guy that gave a monkey an uzi, and then wants someone else to deal with it. Nah, we're just going to stay away from both the monkey with the uzi and we're also going to stay away from the idiots that gave an uzi to a fucking monkey. Yes, writing off the nation where everyone is an idiot, that's armed with nuclear weapons, and has expansionist ideals and deciding to just leave them to their own devices because pushing back is possibly difficult or risky will work out great.
It should only be a problem is you're a nation in the western hemisphere without nuclear weapons, so I'm sure it's fine. Mexicans, greenlanders and Canadians aren't worth causing a fuss over, and I'm sure they'll stop there. Just ask Poland.
You're assuming that a whole bunch of countries aren't busy acquiring nuclear weapons right now. So when you're surrounded by countries with nukes pointed at you because you elected a child molester that destroyed all of your alliances, will you then admit that America is a stupid country?
The US invading Canada would be the end of the US. Yeah the American military is good at invading countries. Occupations, not so much. But unlike other failed occupations where you had an ocean in between you and the other country and you could just pack up and go home, there would be no going home from an invasion of Canada. Again something stupid that only an American would think is a good idea.
Y'all get emotional and want to do stupid things for the sake of your pride. Worrying about pride while you have a goddamn child molester as a President. Stupid people.
Why are you mad at me? I'm not the one saying we should do those things, nor did I vote for him or support him. I've done damned near everything an individual can do.
Americans aren't a monolith. Some of us are terrified of the things that are happening and want them to stop. You're mad at the people who want it to stop and are desperately saying "we might not be able to stop this, please help".
You're arguing that people you think are stupid wouldn't do something you think is stupid. Think about that for a minute.
America's ability to occupy is more complicated than you think. We regularly set unattainable objectives, but it's not like we were forced out of Iraq or Afghanistan.
An invasion of Canada would definitely go poorly, but do you think it would go worse for Canadians or Americans?
Our invasion of Afghanistan lasted 20 years and cost us around 2,000 lives. It cost the Afghans more than 100,000. In excess of a million if you count non-direct deaths.
Failed occupations because they didn't complete their objectives, not because of an ineffective military presence.
I have no idea if we'd succeed or not in an annexation of Canada, and it doesn't matter. What matters is that optimistically millions of people would die, and they would be disproportionately Canadian civilians.
I make no such assumption. The reality is it takes time to actually produce them. It can take years to build the equipment needed to start production on the materials. A nuke in 4 years isn't a deterrent to an attack in less than 3.
What are you even talking about here? Do you think my comment was in someway a statement of pride? You're mad at the people who are saying they need help because they don't know if they can stop them from hurting you.
They're threatening me with economic hardship, my neighbors with deportation to a random country, and my friends with erasure. They're threatening you with starvation, bombing, death by infection, and being arbitrarily shot because your car was a convenient target.
It's our problem, but that doesn't mean it won't hurt you.
Just because it's your problem doesn't mean the rest of the world won't hurt you. Don't whine to me about how you didn't support Trump and do that bullshit American superiority thing where you imply threats to everyone else to show dominance. That's the big reason you're as fucked up as you are right now.
Understand the reality of the situation you're in. Stop thinking you're superior to every country in the world and think the world has to convince you to stop being bad guys with bullshit around sporting events or whatever. Start understanding we are heading to the point where what may happen is someone from another country might kill you for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. It doesn't matter that you didn't support Trump or whatever excuse you want to make. You may end up dead and considered by history as just another body in an evil country that destroyed itself for stupid reasons.
I'm starting to hate Americans for just sitting around and thinking this shit is a joke or whining about democrats or thinking about anything else other than the evil you're all bringing to the world with your collective ignorance, arrogance, greed, and hatred. Will you still not take it seriously when you're driving across a bridge that the US military uses and you see a drone coming to take out the bridge you're on? Are you going to explain to the drone, you didn't support Trump? Complain about the democrats for the situation you're in?

What part of anything I said to you implies I'm not taking it seriously? That I don't understand the dangerous path we're on?
You're saying it's an American problem, so we should fix it ourselves. I'm saying that we quite likely don't have the ability to hurt the people in power meaningfully before they escalate things further.
Saying you should stop giving us money because it's one of the only things that might hurt them or get people desperate enough to depose them before they start a war with Canada or Denmark isn't failing to take it seriously or not understand it.
I'm truly confused how you're ending up in that place.

I would never give a monkey an uzi, but my neighbors believed it was an awesome idea. The neighbors far across the pond think we’re all the same over here and that I’m to blame for the monkey having an uzi. So idk… I just pray we all survive this without everyone picking up an uzi.
