Because we are adults that understand and respect the rule of law, have lives , jobs, and families to risk, and are still hoping against hope that it doesn't need to come down to civilians firing on federal agents because nothing is going to get better from that point for a little while, and it is almost certainly going to get a whole lot more worse before it gets better.
I'm really tired of the Rambo larp online. If you want to be on the front line if it finally happens, what you should be doing now is planning and staying low profile. Stock dry food, clean water, first aid supplies. Buy a ham and learn how to remove a bullet, then learn to suture the wound. Make friends, develop trust, form networks. Maybe learn how to use a real radio, that will be more useful than a basement full of 5.56. But please, for the love of God, stop inciting others to violence before you experience the violence for yourself.
Larp and online are mutually exclusive...
You do realize the rest of the world does protest by setting things on fire, attacking riot police, crafting handmade weaponry and much more, right?
I mean it, people with jobs and families and rule of law do exactly what you're saying you can't do. You realize that, right?
Your own weakness and the fact your population is disgracefully devoid of any civic duty (and nothing but saturated fat in your arteries) does not mean everybody else is "Rambo larping". We are asking why you are not reacting because we do react.
Imagine you're watching somebody in front of a moving train and they're not jumping away. To everybody else the obvious reaction is jumping, so we shout "what the hell are you doing, jump already!" and your reply would be "hurr durr this isn't a Spider Man movie, people can't jump I have a job, I'll stay here in front of the train tweeting angrily".
for an actual answer? the entire US public education system was designed around making docile factory workers with minimal critical thinking skills.

Nothing I've personally done in regards to local protesting are things I'm willing to publicly state, even behind an "anonymous" account, thanks.
