Yo.
I used this concept in my homebrew D&D world to connect major cities. I also have a Shrike in my world that is a product of a complex ritual by a race of creatures trying to accelerate the apocalypse. There's an inland grass sea my players often traverse by ship to get to pertinent places in their region.
Anyhow, amazing painting. Saving it.
