Okay, but the article is about EVs. The issues you describe exist with both them and internal combustion engine vehicles.
It’s more pronounced in EVs.
It actually isn't. all cars track you now.
EV apps track your phone and you. My subaru doesn't need my phone to work or refuel. EVs are more invasive than regular autos.
The only difference is the drivetrain.
