We can try one last time for you to lend some coherence to the discussion.

You hollered vapidly about my not having a plan.

Do you have some kind of plan, that you think is relevant to share?

[–] Hawanja@lemmy.world -1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Yeah. Organize politically and vote in a candidate who then represents me and passes laws for stuff that I like.

[–] unfreeradical@slrpnk.net 2 points 1 day ago (2 children)

How well is that working?

Organizing and voting are fine, but when there are two candidates who support genocide, and none who supports universal healthcare, which one do you suppose represents you?

[–] eugenevdebs@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

That's easy, they want genocide and don't care who does it.

Liberals are protecting fascists, once again.

[–] eugenevdebs@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 1 day ago

Fascism is always bipartisan, anything else threatens their mutual bottom line and end goals.

[–] Hawanja@lemmy.world 0 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Yeah me voting against the fascists is protecting them while you doing jack shit is opposing them. That sure makes sense.

[–] unfreeradical@slrpnk.net 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

You seem to know more about me than I know about myself.

I know that you've utterly failed to dismantle imperialism, supplant capitalism, and get any meaningful political gains whatsoever in the last 40 years.
Some of us don't have time to wait around for you people to get your imaginary revolution off the ground. We would like to see change within our lifetime please.

How well is that working?

Lol. What gains have any communist/socialist movements in this country actually made, in the last 30 years? Which laws have gotten passed? Which candidates have been elected? Which cities or states have abandoned coporatisim and started dismantling the polcie state? Where's the co-ops and collectives that are supposed to be supplanting capitalism? Don't make me laugh.

Organizing and voting are fine, but when there are two candidates who support genocide, and none who supports universal healthcare, which one do you suppose represents you?

Maybe the one who isn't planning to suspend future elections and become a dictator for life? https://www.themirror.com/news/politics/breaking-trump-says-election-should-1601480??23

"They had the worst president, did the worst job. They have the worst policy," Trump said, referring to the Democratic Party. "We >have to even run against these people."

He continued by suggesting that the election could be canceled to stop the Democrats from running. In a sarcastic tone, Trump >said the only reason he won't directly call for the election to be canceled is that the "fake news" will call him a "dictator" if he >doesn't allow democracy to run as the Constitution and laws of the land dictate.

But yeah, I guess punishing democrats is more important than preserving democracy. I mean, you already said you didn't care, so why am I even bothering?

More absurd ranting.

Bye, troll.

[–] Hawanja@lemmy.world 0 points 23 hours ago (1 children)

More snobbish elitism. You can go away now.

[–] unfreeradical@slrpnk.net 1 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

Essentially the entire thread consists of you attacking me for positions I never expressed, and generally your own imagined features of my beliefs and actions.

In contrast, I never attacked you personally, yet now you pretend to have been victimized.

Your attitude and your grasp of politics are both profoundly childish and self serving.

Keep crying.

Keep crying, because a leftist community, in which you chose to post, consists of leftists who discuss leftism.

You are not on the front lines fighting fascism. You vote once a year, at most, for a party that is barely less fascist than its pretend antagonist, and you spend the rest of your time pointing fingers and playing victim.

Keep crying out your straw man about someone else not "participating in the political process".

Keep crying, but cry elsewhere, alongside your fellow pro-genocide liberals.
