Yes, that does sidestep the moral issues, actually. Unless you mean to claim that "ai" is actually intelligent?

It'll create new ones. There's been companies promising advanced AI that turned out to be outsourced Indian workers answering prompts in sweatshop conditions. Now apply this to a company renting out "indistinguishable sex bots".

I wouldn't call the mechanical turk a new ethical issue, but you do raise a good point.

I once tried to work for it, it was not available in my region. I could have been the sex bot rn, dodged a bullet.
