I can get behind these rules to be honest. I think panini would be a ciabatta or something like that.
I hadn’t realised that the American grilled cheese was basically a sandwich toasted and you’re quite right to point out toasties are sealed all around.
I wonder do Americans eat toasties. I’m reluctant to assume your country of origin.
If we do we don't call em that, what makes a toastie?
