Thomas Jefferson Approved
I've never been aware of Thomas Jefferson being into women in that age range. Can you expand on that / pass resources for further research?
Asking primarily because I tend to favor Jefferson among the founding fathers. I'd be very disappointed if he was actually into.....that. But want to be sure I have an accurate picture of historical figures.
Jefferson was a massive hypocrite. A slave owner who often spoke of freedom. People of the time called him out for the hypocrisy.
But specifically, it's been proven through genetic testing that he impregnated one of his slaves, who was the much younger half sister of his wife, because Jefferson got his slaves from his slave dealing father in law, who also raped his slaves.
More hypocrisy, Jefferson wrote about how Americans should live idyllic lives on small farms in touch with nature, and ran a slave powered nail factory.
Specifically, young teen boys, because their hands were smaller, and could more easily operate the dangerous equipment.
There's so much more, and all of it bad.
There's this.
Have a fun listen to the 4(?) part Behind the Bastards episode on ol Tommy
