So much same. I haven't written many complete songs, soup to nuts, but I have dozens upon dozens of different tunes, from 8 bars out to a few minutes, and I know I've spent hours listening to them on repeat.

There's just something really special about a song that kinda comes together on its own. Sometimes it felt like work, but sometimes the creative juices would flow and it was magical. Was similar with making mixes too, where I just felt which song should come next and didn't put much thought into it.

Been a long while though, life is busy now. But it's always there waiting for me to come back.
