Just because someone is on Tiktok or Instagram or any other social media doesn't delegitimize them.
She was a reporter for the CBC, press release journalist who worked in the actual parliament to report on things like bills, laws, debates and budgets. She also had a fact check segment on CBC. But the Conservatives got tired of all their lies and bullshit being revealed and called out and put pressure on the last Trudeau minority government to get her canned.
Just because she sounds pissed off, and rightly so, doesn't delegitimize her arguments either. Everyone should be pissed off. It's not rage bait when the facts are so fucking outrageous.
And what other media should we turn to? She's an independent journalist. Every other news media is either owned by a conservative fascist media baron or backed by one. She's as real as it gets.
And you should get with the times, old man, people get their news from social media now. Get with it.

No. She's not. She's social media rage bait. She is driven by what gets clicks, which is driven by social media algorithms, and she gets paid through advertising that is based on clicks. She is independent in that she has no editor, that is clear. She's not independent in the sense of being separate from corporate advertising pressures.
Yeah, people used to get thereir news from cable TV and people told them not to then too. Congratulations on putting in the lowest effort possible and becoming half informed by what gets you angry. You're an advertiser's wet dream.
And other medias don't? Get real.
Aren't you angry at the news in general these days? Beween the Palestinian holocaust caused by Israel and the UAE's genocide in Sudan, American politics, MAGA, ICE, the general push of western society towards fascism in general, the collapse of Canadian society through restritive costs of living and the constant degradaion of our social services through attrition for the past 20+ years by conservative and neo-liberal politics, there's plenty to be unfuriated about.
She's not rage baiting, she's just stating facts.
What did the UAE DO now? She wouldn't know a fact if it slapped her across the face. She was Fact Checker for CTV for a short while 🤣 during the last election and did such a horrible job she was fired because of so many complaints. 🤣
