Don't know if you're joking, but in french, bats are called "chauve-souris", which literally means "bald mouse".

In Serbian, we just call them blind rat.

In Estonian they're "nahkhiir", which means skin + rat.

In my language they are called "ratapinyada" or "ratpenat" from the latin for winged rat.
