If a source you used was already posted by someone else, the autoMod will leave a message. Please remove your post if the autoMod is correct. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners.
The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

It's the typical narcissistic sociopath trial balloon method, and I agree the news is (intentionally or not) complicit. You test boundaries constantly, break the ones that are not strong enough to resist, and wear down the others by normalizing it.
First others say it, then joking about it, then saying earnestly he'd like it, next is "exploring options." By 2027, he'll be normalizing actively campaigning, and by 2028 he'll be on every GOP- and GOP-controlled purple-state ballot, with expedited Supreme Court shadow docket decisions pending to force it on the rest of the states.
Hopefully he'll be long dead by then, but his existence is proof of a benevolent creator that seemingly won't let that happen.
I say only half-jokingly: The best argument I've seen for a deity is that the last few years defy any explanation except that such a being exists and feels we deserve to be punished.
If that's the case, he's going to survive for quite some time.

I also say half jokingly: You know, it's said the Anti-Christ was supposed to survive a wound to the head. Does a scary little booboo on the ear count? Lol
J/k, if the end-times-prophecy theory on Revelation is correct, the Anti-Christ would be scary because he's competent. That rules out this guy immediately.
Why the bastard keeps pushing the envelope almost everyday since January. That I stopped speculating whatever the fuck he'll do next because his goddamn shit partners are looking for ideas for which to oppress more.
