Diet Coke is the best diet soda because it doesn't try to mimic the sweetness of its non diet counter part. (sh.itjust.works)

Every other diet soda is unpalatable to me, it just tastes so off that I would rather drink water. Diet Coke is different because it is designed around its bitter taste. Maybe I am alone.

Diet coke tastes like straight up chemicals to me. Coke zero is way more palatable.

My favorite is cherry dr pepper zero though.
