I had a 65" touch screen on loan from work for a few months and I had a floor setup because it didn't have legs. It leaned against my TV stand and I'd work on my laptop on the coffee table. And because it was half covering my TV, it became my TV.
Felt really cool for awhile but in the long run, I advise against it. It looks and feels in the way. You can't put your feet up and you get a sore back from slouching.
Put it 2ft from the ground and I think you'll be happy
