Yeah, but then your father sends you a bunch of pro-bigotry, pro-fascist memes and you wonder if he's actively trying to trigger you or if he honestly thinks he can convert you to his regressive way of thinking.

It's an act of love and hatred. I don't respect it, because I know the hatred will be turned on me soon enough, but you do have to try to understand it
