Christopher Sands, director of the Johns Hopkins Center for Canadian Studies in Washington, said it's not a surprise Canadian antipathy toward the U.S. has not gotten any better — the 51st state talk is gone but the tariffs are still wreaking havoc.

I don't give a fuck about the tarrifs. 51st shit you only have to say once and I'm fuckin' done.

That, and, you know, the authoritarian dictator racist fascist military state Nazi shit.

Exactly. People are being abducted off the street by plainclothes "officers" (who's to know?), put in the back of unmarked cars, and disappeared. A Canadian died in detainment from being denied access to live-saving prescription medication.

Tariffs are so far down my list of reasons for not traveling to the US.
