Looking at it as an outsider and with no idea how the endorsement/censure system works, could that be five separate shitty messages from the instance admin; or is it one shitty message and four instances censuring in solidarity?
There are 3 types of reviews admins can bestow upon an instance: endorsement, hesitation or censure.
All censures are from independent admins.
...but not necessarily based in meaningful or even true critique. The FAQ says "An censure is a completely subjective negative judgement from one instance to another. Effectively signifying that instance A "disapproves" of instance B. The reason for this can be anything and do not have to be stated."
Frankly I'm not sure why you cited this as a reply to my original comment, in which I was sharing my instance name for visibility. What was your purpose here?
Hi, I'm the instance owner being censured on the Fediseer.
The Fediseer is used to identify spam/bot instances.
Instance owner drama is fun and juicy, but doesn't qualify an instance as spam- or bot-related.
The Fediseer is being misused here by someone that I argued with, probably in a Leftist community. They're supposed to use it to protect users from spam, not to "downvote" people after a dispute. And to be clear, there are no bots, and no spam coming from my instance.
Hopefully @Sunshine@piefed.ca can shed some light onto why she called this out, or what she hoped to accomplish by doing so
