Clickbait titles use hyperbolic language and do not accurately describe the article content. When necessary, post titles may be edited, clearly marked with [brackets], but may never be used to editorialize or comment on the content.
5. Only recent news is allowed.
Posts must be news from the most recent 30 days.
6. All posts must be news articles.
No opinion pieces, Listicles, editorials, videos, blogs, press releases, or celebrity gossip will be allowed. All posts will be judged on a case-by-case basis. Mods may use discretion to pre-approve videos or press releases from highly credible sources that provide unique, newsworthy content not available or possible in another format.
7. No duplicate posts.
If an article has already been posted, it will be removed. Different articles reporting on the same subject are permitted. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners or news aggregators.
All posts must link to original article sources. You may include archival links in the post description. News aggregators such as Yahoo, Google, Hacker News, etc. should be avoided in favor of the original source link. Newswire services such as AP, Reuters, or AFP, are frequently republished and may be shared from other credible sources.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

I wonder who's drip feeding this info about Epstein and Trump? They're certainly having fun.
I mean, they probably could've dropped it in 2016, 2020 or 2024, so why now?
Trump has done a huge amount of damage and his job is done. Whoever is burning him probably has no further use for him or recognizes the lost cause.

Why bother with a succession plan if you already got everything you wanted and nobody's gonna roll it back?
It's not like the Dems will reverse much if any of the tax cuts and the like if free and fair (by post-60s US standards, at least) elections are ever allowed again. The ratchet effect doesn't have an exception for fascism or other absurdly extreme policy.
Nah, they have infiltrated elections enough that they think they will control them from now on. JD is Thiel’s puppet, Musks party doesn’t exist, and the Dems are guilty of letting it happen, but aren’t a threat since they won’t ever be back in power if the MAGATs plan works out.

No. Now because their support is beyond paper thin. They're committing an atrocity that will be remembered at the level of the holocaust and they couldn't be doing it without Trumps/ the US's backing. And among MAGA? They're split on supporting Israel. The ones who went to MAGA because they're racist and thought it was good sport, they support Israel. Those who were genuine "America First" MAGA? They don't want us spending money on Israel either.
There is a very real moment happening right now that if the appropriate pressures can be placed, MAGA might be able to be cleaved, at least in part, from supporting Trump. Look at MTG's vote in the house. Even a small percentage getting pulled away would be more than enough. There is a real chance to stop Trumpism in this moment.
And Israel can't have Trump cutting them off in an effort to salvage his coalition. It would be red-meat for the America firsters.

It doesn't have to be a conspiracy. It can just be that the editors know that people are likely to click on Trump - Epstein stories now.
Any journalist who had a story turned down at some point in the past because there were bigger stories is going to be pulling it out and trying to get it to run again. Archivists are going to go through every Trump - Epstein story that already did run once and trying to run it again.

Trump's wedding was a media event, lots of cameras were there. They just sifted through their own tapes.
I watched a couple interviews with Michael Wolff on youtube. He said Epstein tried to hire him to write his biography and showed him photos of DJT with young looking women that could have been underage teenagers. (Or just young looking, he didn't know) He also said he tried to take the story to journalists/news orgs multiple times over the years, but none of them would touch it. Until now. So yeah, people tried, like Katie Johnson, and the stories got squashed. Or like the Access Hollywood tape, it was widely reported and he still won the election in 2016. Teflon don, indeed.
