That's capitalism. There is only one thing that matters, and that is money. If the public decides that teddy bears are vogue, they start selling teddy bears. If it suddenly were to become popular to lynch gay people, they start selling pitch forks and torches.

Only thing any corporation cares about is “make line go up faster”

We need to pass laws to protect people and to control corporations. More anti monopoly legislation first and foremost.
