Imagine wanting to lose so badly, that you're out there, actively sabotaging one of the most popular candidates in recent history.
I didn't see any of that energy for stopping Trump from the democrats. They'd rather have fascism over free buses.
Because the fascist does not endanger their cushy seats. If Trump wins, they will win next election after people are sick of Trump.
If they let people like Mamdani replace them in their own party, they are never getting elected again.
I think I'd rather have the Republican but there's no chance that a Democrat won't be elected.
Tell me you don't live in NYC, without telling me you don't live in NYC.
If you live under a rock in NYC, isolating yourself from the rest of society, not only do you NOT live in NYC, you don't live in a normal strata of society and are so rich that you don't live in reality at all.
Splinter clearly had a trust fund.
There are no other Democrats running. Mamdani won the primary.
Cuomo is running as an independent despite just having lost to him...badly. And the current mayor is also no longer a Democrat since he was indicted on corruption charges and the rest of the party told him he should resign. Now he's seen as a Trump shill, since Trump got the DoJ to drop all charges against him.
Don't bother with this guy, @ArbitraryValue@sh.itjust.works has done some mental gymnastics to justify starving the Palestinian population. So it really isn't surprising they would want to vote for the most ghoulish option.
Yes, that's what I'm saying. There's no way that anyone except Mamdani will win unless something really bizarre happens. He's not going to lose to forced-to-resign-in-disgrace Cuomo or should-have-been-forced-to-resign-in-disgrace Adams, and he's certainly not going to lose to Silwa. People who are afraid that the Democratic establishment will succeed in sabotaging him don't need to worry. In fact, I'm surprised that Paterson is apparently willing to embarrass himself by trying something so clearly futile.
