That’s no longer called Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, correct?

[Pauses.] I think it’s just called Supergirl.

The most recent Batman movie was literally called the Batman.

I guess you have a point on the time frames. I just think that if graphic novels always need thier own title, then movies should too. What's wrong with The Batman: Vengeance as a title? For example.

To clarify I don't have any problem with "The Batman" film starring Robert Pattinson because there are no recent films called just "The Batman". The last similar title was "Batman" in 1989.

I think if there were a 2027 film called "Batman" or "The Batman" then that would be confusing.

Also I don't believe any graphic novel, comic book or book are required to have a different name. They chose to have a different name in order to stand out. A new "Superman" every year would be confusing, but every 30+ years isn't a problem.

I don't have any problem with the original titles, but I'm also fine if they drop the subtitles.

In fact I think the film "The Suicide Squad" coming out after "Suicide Squad" was a mistake. We have two similar titles with shared casting in the same universe.

The film clearly did fine and it essentially erases the "bad" connotation of the "Suicide Squad" franchise, which is nice, but it does make it annoying to talk about it.

I hear you. It's not a hill I'm dying on or anything, i just find it annoying.
