One of the world’s greatest dealmakers is putting on a masterclass in how to navigate international relations, it has emerged.

the “modern” Zionist movement alone is from the 19th century, more than 100 years ago.

1947 didn’t start even this iteration of it my dude.

The Zionist movement started in the late 19 century, but it was still just that: A European movement. The conflict between local Palestinians and Zionist Jews only got going in the 20s after the Balfour declaration and Sykes-Picot. This is the period where you see Zionist militias on one side (the Haganah for example was founded in 1920) and Palestinian riots on the other.
