Schroeder sits on the floor frowning. Charlie Brown leans over him and says,"Smile, Schroeder..."
He stoops next to Schroeder and continues,"C'mon, Schroeder, smile...you can do it" Schroeder raises his eyebrows.
As he smiles, Charlie Brown exclaims, "He did it! He's smiling!! He's smiling at me!"
They both look at the reader, and Charlie Brown concludes,"Gee! I feel like a father!"
