I think you need to be American. It is funny how the Americans are busy explaining the drug to you, but failing to understand that it is the underlying premise that most non-Americans won't get.
Yeah I didn't get that that was a shotgun shell I thought it was a film canister.
Also every antihistamine I've ever seen has been a tiny little round thing, those are huge

Whenever I get Benedryll (I assume what’s pictured) there’s a lot of carrier material (supposedly for the tummy), but if you get Sudafed by itself (the main ingredient) it’s a tiny little round pill.
Im not saying you're wrong about the amount of carrier material, but sudafed(pseudoephedrine) and benadryl(diphenhydramine) are two completely different drugs.
Edit: also i don't think there's any liquid inside the shell
my first thought was force feeding, but i do hope nobody force feeds nails to home intruders over there, so my second thought was uhhh, some sort of gun that shoots whatever you put in it? but would pills even work if someone uh, shot you with them? i'm pretty sure all pills are designed to need processing by our digestive track

that's still inserting them into your body in a semi-intended way, curious choice of hole but guess it works. i was thinking more a pill shard making its own hole into your body,,, that probably won't give the pill's intended effect

boofing would work way better than snorting or inhaling most pills i imagine, since your ass is still a part of your digestive track and things still do get absorbed through there
Benadryl is a brand name of diphenhydramine, an antihistamine with a powerful side effect of drowsiness. Benadryl is labeled as an allergy relief medication but the same drug is sold under other brands such as Sominex as a sleep aid. Effects of overdosing on diphenhydramine include seizures, extreme drowsiness, excessive sleepiness, delirium, and hallucinations.
The translucent object packed with several of the pills is a shotgun shell. The text refers to the practice of reloading shotgun shells with other objects in an attempt to alter their lethality and/or pain potential. A shell loaded with rock salt for example, salt is much lighter than lead so it should have less stopping/penetrating power, but any wounds caused are automatically salted.
I'm a little disappointed in myself that I didn't think it'd work like that.
The idea behind a rock salt shell is it would be less likely to kill and more likely to HURT. Also possibly less likely to damage anything behind. You might take a little paint off the fridge but not destroy it.

The salt load has an added benefit of temporarily incorporeating ethereal beings.
It would make a lot more sense with robotussin but whoever made this doesn't really understand what's in today's OTC drugs, the Benadryl that was fun isn't pink like these. Diphenhydramine is just a bad drug they need to recall.
It’ll still fuck you up in a deeply unpleasant way if you try to have fun with it.

What Benadryl are you talking about, I've never heard of it being anything but diphenhydramine? People definitely abuse this form, it's a deliriant in high doses and can cause hallucinations. I can't recall its name but I distinctly remember there being a community about it on the other site.
Edit: perhaps you're thinking of Sudafed PE, in which the main ingredient, pseudoephedrine, was switched for phenylephrine? The latter drug was recently found to be ineffective like you're talking about. Though, the reason they made pseudoephedrine prescription only in the first place was because people were using it to make meth, not because it was a fun drug to abuse.
If we can get an intruder high on any drugs in this scenario I'd go for datura. It's not an otc drug, but I think you can legally grow the plant or even get it from a plant store. Most people describe the trip as hell
Something important that people aren't really mentioning is that you can use salt-filled shotgun shells in a home defense situation to reduce collateral damage caused by the shotgun pellets penetrating through walls (idk what the nails are for, I'd assume something similar)
Bullshit, they can DEFINITELY kill if they hit the head or heart.
There are a handful of places that you can get hit by a nail fired with the speed of a shotgun that won't kill you, but there are many, many more places that will.
Force = Mass * Acceleration.
A nail gun does not have the same amount of explosive power that a shotgun does, and it is typically mechanically limited to driving the nail head flush with the surface of whatever it's attached to.
Shotguns do not have the precision or the initial driving force of a nail gun but they have a lot more follow-through when they do hit.
If you had to choose Between being hit in the stomach by a nail gun at point-blank range, or hit in the stomach by a shotgun loaded with nail shot at point-blank range, which one would you choose?
The difference is the method of nail delivery.
You are more likely to sustain serious damage when a nail is fired at you from a shotgun than from a nail gun.
They are less lethal.
There's an upper limit to how much benadryl you should take in a sitting if you don't want to breach the stratosphere
It's an allergy medicine that's also used as a sedative, put into a shotgun shell.
In higher doses it can cause dissasociation, delerium, hallucinations, etc.
