- No memes, trolling, misinformation, or low-effort posts/comments (including reposts). If you see posts like this that anger you, do not engage. Report, block, and live a happier life than they do. Any slap-fight is subject to comment removals. Fights full of rule violations will result in temporary bans to cool off.
- No manipulating votes via bots or alt accounts; this will result in permanent bans. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in an account ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be permanently banned.
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules and use critical thinking when reading, posting, and commenting. Users that repeatedly have comments or posts removed, weaponize reports, or violate the code of conduct, will be banned.

Yup. For those who are not aware, they structured that district specifically so that all lawsuits filed in certain zip codes in Amarillo go to this guy. So any time they need a convenient MAGA cout ruling, they find someone in Amarillo to file the lawsuit over it.
Also says something about Amarillo ~~I'm~~ in general that they can always find their plaintiffs there.

It was a key component of the southern strategy that the Republican Party focused on. Basically, you don’t need to pack every court. Just structure one area in a way that one or two ultra-con judges can rule on everything.
When I was in high school, in government class we had an assignment where we had to draw different districts for Texas - that depending on how you divided it, you could make either party win.
It’s disgusting. It’s ultimately about denying African Americans representation.
