fwiw this is when you find out who's on your side (i.e. who speak up during bad times) and who's not (i.e. who ignore the situation or support the people in power.)

Oh please, as if it's only the US having massive issues...They're not, they're just the most loud mouthed about it online and it gets tiring. There's only so many fucks to give before fatigue sets in. While their situation is truly shit, it's also by far not even close to the worst were dealing with at the moment. So yeah, I'm tapping out on the subject of US political drama for a while, that doesn't mean I don't sympathise with them.

That's fine, but complaining that comic creators are making comics about topics important to them is silly. Ignore them and move on.

One thing that worries me is in the past europe, canada, australia, seemed to be on the forefront of societal improvements. Compared to the us they still are but its much more piecemeal and I feel we are leading the way in a contagious enshitification thing. I mean like didn't the uk get rid of their post???
