New bike day for me: Got a Ride1up Portola after my local shop had one for $950. I fixed up my old Engwe too but the Portola rides so much better, folds up smaller, and is just all around better.

The only things I like better about the EP2 is that the rack fits standard bags, you need a key to start it, and the 4" 15 PSI tires offer a slightly smoother ride (though I also have Tannus Armour installed, so that probably helps).

The pedal assist on the Portola is significantly better, same for brakes, grips, saddle, fenders... pretty much everything is higher quality and at a lower MSRP. Customer service also seems better (so far anyways).
