It's a chiefly British way of measuring body weight. 1 st = 14 lbs, so 7 st 9 lbs = 107 lbs. Though honestly 50kg is closer to 7 st 12 lbs.
And I thought Americans were bad with arbitrary values (yeah it’s probably rooted in something…. From 400 years ago)
I would assume then that it’s a Hong Kong thing.
