Sooo... to "be a real man" you need to be gay now or what is it they are saying?
That was kind of what I got out of this. Are there straight guys out there who really don't like eating pussy?
A buddy of mine. Just refuses to. Never elaborated, I didn't ask. Probably part of why his marriage didn't last.
By that logic, my deep love for the act should ensure mine will last forever.
It used to be a racial thing, like only white guys would do it. Probably has to do with the hyperactive degree of masculinity signalling in black and hispanic cultures, at least back in the gangsta rap era. Now we're in the age of white Republican masculinity signalling, so I guess it's their thing now.
I will say from back in the days of yore when a girl would let me anywhere near her it did strike me as a bit gross, but I did enjoy seeing her enjoy it. I think the fact that it's a bit gross and she enjoys it means it's kind of subservient, so you can't be an alpha male if you do it. Says a lot about how so much of this sort of fundamentalist masculinity culture is pretending about what men want rather than being about what men really want.
That's a much bigger topic though.
It was a major plot point on one of the seasons of The Sopranos. Junior ordered a hit on Tony Soprano after Tony found out that Junior ate pussy and teased him for it.
Of all the notions that exist around hypermasculinity, this one is the weirdest.
There's also that these men hate women who enjoy sex, "giving head" is considered to be only enjoyable to one party by some, and thus bad if the woman enjoys it. Some of them even describe asexuality as what normal should be for woman, but still do it for men.
Weirdly enough some more "hypersexual" women don't necessarily want it, and instead weirdly obsessed with "mutual pleasure".
