The U.S. Supreme Court blocked on Tuesday a judge's order for President Donald Trump's administration to rehire thousands of fired employees, acting in a dispute over his effort to slash the federal workforce and dismantle parts of the government.

The court put on hold San Francisco-based U.S. Judge William Alsup's March 13 injunction requiring six federal agencies to reinstate thousands of recently hired probationary employees while litigation challenging the legality of the dismissals continues.

Anyone who thinks the Supremes are going to stop any of this nonsense are in for a bad time.

The majority of them are also fascists. This is what they want, even if it means losing their own legitimacy as a court. They'll have gotten what they wanted out of it. They don't care about the future of the Supreme Court as an institution, they are in "got mine, fuck you" mode.

Only Amy Coney-Barrett seems to see the writing on the wall, and that may very well be simply because she's a woman waking up to what is going to happen to women. She also seems like she is torn between this realization and her own upbringing in the cult that told her this is what she wanted, too.
