They see racism and confuse it for power.
That's what they see.
That is his strength though. Many famous republicans got cancelled and this guy tripled down on the rhetoric and got elected president twice! His ability to be a racist criminal shitbag with no concequence is a real arugable strength.
It's like a super power really. What if you could just say any nasty shit and people would applaud you for it.
They see Crying Liberals and assume victory. Not unlike under Bush or Reagan or Nixon.
This is purely the politics of resentment.
He is the weak man's idea of a strong man.
The poor man's idea of a rich man.
The dumb man's idea of a smart man.
