Idk about the claims. I know going barefoot is great for the soul Not so much the soles, in hot weather on beaches, but you know. It feels pretty great on grass and freshly turned earth.
Oh I'm with you, just the reasoning behind this meme is very 'electroculture' like thinking which is totally invalid.
Basically idk Jack about it but I'd be interested to see research.
It's really big in the barefoot shoes community. To the point of being cultish personally.

But then again I viewed fediverse evangelist as cultish too 😬Vivobarefoot has a page about the science of it. Only the first 1/3 of the page has references to a few papers. The other 2/3 is ATM I consider marketing as there's no research paper referenced.

It's griping about the ssl cert, which is annoying because it's let me visit other sites that others' have had blocked, before. I chose "visit site anyway" and it still blocks it. 🙄
